Seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for a critical maintenance role within a major Public Hospital. This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity offering a 9-day fortnight, competitive rates, and an immediate start.

We are currently partnering with a large Government body to source a skilled HVAC Technician for a key facility maintenance role based at a prominent public hospital.

This position is initially offered as a Temp-to-Perm contract. This allows you to integrate into the team and demonstrate your expertise with a clear pathway toward a permanent, secure career within the public sector. Key Responsibilities

Working as part of the Facilities Management team, your duties will include:

  • Reactive and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems across the hospital campus.

  • Servicing cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, and split systems.

  • Maintenance of essential refrigeration units and medical cooling storage.

  • Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure minimal disruption to clinical services.

  • Ensuring all work complies with strict health and safety (WHS) and government standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

  • Restricted Electrical Licence.

  • Full Australian Working Rights.

  • Valid Driver’s Licence.

  • The ability to pass a National Police Check and provide relevant vaccination records (standard for hospital site access).
